Conversations for Impact: Policies and Practices that Bring Communities Together For Student Success

At the January Conversations for Impact gathering you will hear from educators and leaders in the public and non-profit sectors, academia and government who have each played important roles in helping communities work together on behalf of students. We will discuss opportunities for future collaboration and strategies to build the commitment necessary for all young people to receive an education that opens doors for their futures.  

First Annual Gateway Trivia-thon

Gateway Public Schools is hosting our first ever Trivia-Thon! Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support the nearly 800 students who attend Gateway Middle and Gateway High Schools here in San Francisco.

Fundraising teams will get together on Thursday, February 6, 2020, 6-9pm at The Plough and The Stars on Clement to compete for the first Trivia-Thon Trophy! Teams get open bar + a taco bar, six rounds of trivia, and trophies and prizes!

This signature event brings together Gateway faculty, parents and staff for a fabulous evening of community building and supports a great cause. The next Great Gateway Gathering is set for Saturday, March 14, 2020. 

Matters of the Mind Luncheon

The Luncheon provides a glimpse into the excellence of our schools and an opportunity to hear from inspiring minds and community leaders who are making a difference. For 2019, we were thrilled to welcome David Plouffe, Head of Policy & Advocacy at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and former White House Senior Advisor to President Obama, as our featured speaker.
