Every year, our Matters of the Mind event brings leaders who are changing the world to Gateway, each with a different perspective on the social issues that make our shared work to educate the next generation so very important.  This year we're delighted to welcome New York Times best-selling author Heather McGhee, Board Chair of Color of Change and author of the new book The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together.

Annual Gateway Trivia-thon

One of Gateway's newest traditions is also one of our most fun! Our annual Trivia-Thon pits teams of GHS alumni and supporters against one another in an adults-only, no-holds-barred test of wit and wisdom. Stay tuned for a save the date and information about our theme and venue for 2022!

The Great Gateway Gathering

Our signature family fundraiser also happens to be one of the best parties of the year! Traditionally a fun and funky cocktail party for the over 21 crowd, the event has morphed in recent years to keep the good times rolling at home, as both a swinging 70s telethon and an incredible virtual student, staff and family talent show! Information about this year's format, venue and date will be available soon!

Conversations for Impact

Held throughout the year, this intimate series of panel conversations brings local experts and distinguished alumni to the Gateway campus for lively discussions with Executive Director Sharon Olken on a variety of topics facing our schools and communities. Past events have covered COVID-19's impact on the workplace and student engagement, collaboration in the public ed sector, and much more. Events and panelists for the 2021-22 school year will be announced soon.
