During Quarter 3, students in Humanities 10 studied the Holocaust and read Elie Wiesel’s memoir Night. In addition, they researched modern genocides including those in Darfur, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Cambodia.
On Tuesday, March 14, students invited members of the community to Gateway High School for an evening of learning and conversation. The evening provided a unique opportunity for students and adults to examine complex ideas such as discrimination, isolation, and dehumanization together.
