Brynne Duty

Trustee

Brynne is a practicing physical therapist, yoga instructor, nervous system advocate, lover of movement and language, and a dedicated parent of a 6th grader at GMS. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Davis, double majoring in English and History, earned her clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy at UCSF, and went on to complete her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification.

Professionally, she has been a PT for 14 years with emphasis in sports medicine, pediatrics, chronic pain, and vestibular issues, and holds her RYT-500 yoga teacher certification. Her goal is to empower people to feel free and at home in their bodies and to participate in activities that lift them up.

As a parent, Brynne served as the Executive VP of the McKinley Elementary School PTA for two years, followed by President for three years. In these roles she orchestrated and coordinated monthly board and community meetings, multiple fundraising events, community events, DEI restructuring, and served as a liaison between parents, staff, faculty, and community partners. She and her wife are true believers in public education.

In her free time, you can find Brynne spending time with her family, exploring through travel, reading, and music, and spending as much time as possible outside. Brynne is proficient with conversational Spanish and considers cooking to be her love language.
