During the month of January, Planned Parenthood came to Gateway Middle School for a series of puberty workshops. Students in each grade attended lecture/discussion/activity lessons with age-specific content geared to increasing their comprehension, awareness, and overall health. Topics ranged from what to expect from bodies during development to sex education and how to make choices about pressures and relationships during puberty.
At Gateway we are proud to offer our students quality education regarding their bodies and the respect that bodies and sexual health deserve.
