Gateway High School is excited to offer students a free coding class through Mission Bit, an organization that aims to eliminate the tech divide in San Francisco by building computer programming and professional opportunity pathways for public school students.
Classes will take place after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. The class is one semester long, and students need to be able to attend all class sessions in order to participate. Gateway will also offer the class during the second semester to a different cohort of students.
Partnering with Mission Bit is another example of how Gateway provides academic enrichment programs and experiences to students that help fuel college and career aspirations.
