Gateway's Class of 2015: College Report

Gateway's 2015 College Report

Gateway students apply to and enroll at leading institutions around the country. We are excited to report that 99% of the Class of 2015 will be attending college in the fall.

Of the 99% of the students matriculating to college, 71% will attend four-year schools. According to Joel Rangel, Gateway's Director of College Counseling, "the biggest barrier for students who want to attend a four-year college directly after high school is the cost of tuition and other fees. Our graduates who will attend community colleges are planning to transfer to four-year-schools after they complete their general courses."

Our core mission remains setting high expectations for all students and preparing them well for college. Gateway's track record of success with sending virtually 100% of its graduates to college each year continues to be double the statewide average for public school students.

Gateway's Class of 2015 will attend a broad range of colleges in the fall, including the following and many more:

American University of Paris         University of California, Berkeley
Cal Poly, Pomona         University of California, Davis
City College of San Francisco         University of California, Irvine
