Paula O'Connor

Paula is a physician scientist, with specialty training in hematology and oncology, who moved to the Bay Area to work in the biotech industry. She has worked at companies such as Genentech, Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Medivation, Coherus Biosciences, and now Nurix Therapeutics, where she is the SVP of Clinical Development, to develop and deliver medicines for patients with cancer.

Outside of work, Paula’s passions are tennis, which she played competitively as a child, and the care and growth of her daughter, who attends Gateway High School.
