Gym Spruced Up Thanks to Kabam and HandsOn Bay Area

Gateway's High School gym recently received a makeover from interns at Kabam who volunteered to paint the gym and blacktop through HandsOn Bay Area, a San Francisco based organization that creates volunteer opportunities between companies and local nonprofits.

"The gym is a place where we have so many of our events," said Gateway's Executive Director, Sharon Olken. "The gym hosts our sporting events, our school rallies, and it's a place where people feel proud but it needed a little bit of love."

Kabam volunteers spruced up the gym by adding a little bit of Gateway flavor to the existing blank walls. By adding Gateway's logo and motto to the walls students will feel a sense of pride and ownership.

A very special thanks to all of the hardworking volunteers at Kabam and HandsOn Bay Area!
