Aeron Noe (she/her)

Aeron Noe (she/her)

Humanities Teacher

Aeron studied English and American Literature at NYU and worked as a professional journalist for many years before becoming a teacher. She has ten years of classroom experience at SFUSD and other districts. A lifelong learner, Aeron is at the tail end of pursuing her Masters in History from Harvard Extension School. She is currently writing her thesis about the anti-Japanese movement and school segregation in San Francisco in 1906.  Aeron is also an active teacher consultant for UC Berkeley’s Bay Area Writing Project, where she leads workshops for other teachers and summer writing camps for students. She is passionate about social justice and making education relevant to students’ real life experiences through project based learning. For fun, Aeron enjoys all-day (or hour-long!) city hikes with her dog Loki and losing track of time in used bookstores.
