Jenna Marx (she/her)
Jenna is a credentialed School Counselor who has a Bachelors in Community Studies from UCSC and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from USF. She is a lifelong Bay Area resident who grew up in the Peninsula and has been in San Francisco since 2010. Before landing at Gateway, she worked with youth in various roles and environments including as a writing coach, music instructor, substitute teacher, after-school program teacher, and in community settings while organizing youth-focused music and arts events. As the College and Career Counselor, Jenna works on things like school-wide college and career opportunities, community partnerships, student internships and job readiness, community service hours and opportunities, transcripts and credit recovery, dual enrollment, our school-wide Flex Block program, and anything else that might help students prepare for college and the workforce after high school. For fun she likes to play music, read, walk her dog, and hang out with her toddler :)
