Enroll at Gateway High School

Each year, Gateway High School enrolls over 130 new ninth graders and several transfer students in 10th - 12th grades. Overall, our school has 480 students and a 24:1 student-teacher ratio. We have an intentionally small community. Each student is known well and students are challenged at their level.

Our students bring incredibly diverse experiences, skillsets, perspectives and educational strengths into our classrooms. As such, we are excited to invite you to Explore Gateway this Fall.

As you consider applying, we encourage you to explore our website and to think about your goals and dreams, the type of high school experience you want, and your intentions for college.

2023-2024 Enrollment Application Now Open!

The deadline for our first enrollment lottery has now passed. However, we encourage families to submit a Late Application to be able to participate in subsequent lotteries and waiting lists, as space permits.

October 3, 2022 - Gateway applications for the 2023-24 school year are available online. 
February 3, 2023 - Application Deadline to be included in our first lottery.
March 20, 2023 - Lottery for 2023-24 conducted and results made public to all applicants.
April 7, 2023 - Final day to accept or decline lottery offers for the 2023-24 school year. 

Lotteries are held on a rolling basis if vacant spaces are available. Contact for more information.
