Tymber Redd

Tymber is originally from Louisville, KY and has lived in the Bay Area for three years. Before that, she lived and taught English as a second language in South Korea for 4.5 years (where she also met her Bay Area native husband!). She has a BA in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky. She completed her residency last year at Summit Shasta in an AP Literature and Composition classroom through the Marshall Teacher Residency. She is a volleyball coach and avid reader. She also enjoys cooking, crafting, puzzling, and watching movies & TV.  She believes education is a practice of freedom and hopes to empower all of her students to be curious critical thinkers.
