Jon Talley (he/him)

Jon Talley was born in Atlanta, GA, and raised in Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Education and earned his Master of Education from Alliant International University in 2023. With over 15 years of experience in education, Jon has taught in various capacities, including Art Education, Technology Education, and Special Education. Currently residing in San Francisco, Jon is excited to join Gateway High School School as a 504 Coordinator and Learning Specialist, where he will bring his diverse teaching background to foster an inclusive and innovative learning environment. Previously, he served as an education specialist at Aspire Public Schools in Oakland for nine years. In his free time, Jon enjoys exploring the rich cultural scenes of San Francisco, engaging in creative projects, sailing the San Francisco Bay, and woodworking. His passion for technology and education is matched by his commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities necessary for success.
