Jared Wolf (he/him)

Jared is entering his seventh year in public education and his first at Gateway High School. He is excited to teach 9th Grade Environmental Science and the Gardening & Horticulture elective—two courses he believes are more important than ever as future generations face the challenges of climate change.
Jared brings a rich background as a middle school math and science teacher, as well as experience in school administration. He holds a B.S. in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara, an M.S. in Educational Studies and Secondary Education from Johns Hopkins University, and an M.Ed. in Public School Building Leadership from Columbia University.
Outside the classroom, Jared is a passionate gardener with a focus on permaculture, hydroponics, and urban farming. In his free time, he enjoys training for triathlons and caring for his collection of over 50 houseplants.
