
Donicia Carlos
Donicia Carlos is a dedicated Community Organizer and Parent Advocate in San Francisco with
over a decade of experience in educational reform and community engagement. As a Project
Consultant with Project Edquity, she has developed DEI training programs for 150+ staff
members and formed strategic partnerships to amplify parent advocacy efforts.
Since 2013, Donicia has served as a Parent Advocate for a Charter School Network, helping
families navigate social services and access essential resources. She has led parent-school
collaboration initiatives, including superintendent hiring processes, and organized public forums
that empower parents in educational decision-making.
Donicia's commitment to mental health advocacy is reflected in her 2023 Mental Health First Aid
certification and current psychology studies at City College of San Francisco. Her professional
background as a supervisor at PG&E and coach manager at AT&T has equipped her with strong
leadership and communication skills that enhance her advocacy work.
Through her ongoing efforts, Donicia continues to strengthen connections between families,
schools, and community resources to create equitable learning environments for all students.
