Yingshi Liang (she/her)

Yingshi was born and raised in China, and she moved to San Francisco when she was 14. After graduating from high school, she studied Anthropology at Middlebury College and University of California, Santa Cruz. She earned her teaching credential and Masters in Education Technology from University of San Francisco. Yingshi joined the Gateway community in January 2026 and started teaching 8th grade science. She is eager to share her passion in teaching Science! Outside the classroom, she enjoys exploring cafés around San Francisco, cooking and traveling.
