Gale Mondry

Gale, one of Gateway’s founders and a past board chair, practiced law for twenty years, eleven of them as Vice President for Legal Services at California Pacific Medical Center. Currently Gale serves as the board co-chair of Urban Adamah, an urban farm and Jewish environmental center in Berkeley. In the recent past, she served on the boards of, and as board chair of, Beyond Differences, Education Pioneers and Children's Council of San Francisco. Gale and her husband, a former public high school math teacher, have four grown children and five grandchildren. Their daughter graduated from Gateway in 2004.
