Ali Russell (she/her)

Ali was born in Walnut Creek and grew up in Lake Tahoe, California and spent most of her childhood outdoors skiing, hiking, camping and exploring. She went to the University of Oregon where she studied General Science, Human Physiology and Chemistry. She then moved to the Bay Area where she pursued her Master’s in Teaching at the University of San Francisco. She has been teaching middle school science (and math!) for over 10 years in San Francisco and Oakland. She lives in Oakland with her partner, Levi, and her daughter Kennedy Lou.
