Adrienne Long (she/her)

Adrienne was born and raised in San Francisco and is thrilled to be joining the thoughtful and dedicated community at Gateway Middle School. She earned her degree in Human Biology with a minor in Spanish from UCLA and her teaching credential in Mathematics from Boston University as a member of Teach For America Massachusetts. Adrienne is entering her fifth year of teaching middle school math and is passionate about making math engaging, accessible, and meaningful for students. She has taught 7th and 8th grade math in public schools in Fall River, Boston, and San Francisco. Outside the classroom, Adrienne enjoys exploring the beauty of her hometown through walks with her dog, Olive, and taking dance classes at studios around San Francisco.
